I'm building a flat pack 3 door sideboard with two doors opening in the same direction, the other in the opposite, so there are two different hinges, but they look almost identical and I can only see the slight difference when they're open, so I only know what hinges to use as there are 4 of 1 and 2 of the other, although for that one the rebound device won't fit onto the bracket I've installed

I have a hard time believing biscuit do not increase strength of joinery at all. The mere ability to increase gluing surface area seems like it would increase strength in all axis of the joint.

I realize this is expensive and not in everyones wheelhouse, but just finishing a large cedar project my lungs were absolutely horrible afterwards. This system would have significantly reduced my exposure to the dust and hence my lung problems. I will be making this my next shop investment.

Long time Makita user and I agree re the trim router. I have looked at the Dewalt and think it's a much better option. The depth adjustment is better, it's got loads more power, and it has a wider more stable base. Dewalt also has a new 1/2" 2 1/4HP cordless router coming out (DCW620?) which looks like a genuine cordless alternative to the of1400. In fact I'd say that Dewalt has the most appealing line up atm of any tool manufacturer if you look at the whole platform (woodworking, carpentry, concrete, OPE, etc.). It's too bad they don't have a 45 degree bevel angle stop on their track saw and that they don't have some high end sanders in their lineup.

Blum конечно же интересно. Но больше интересно смотреть на то, что находится на заднем фоне. Все по полочкам, аккуратно и чистота. Лучший инструмент это - Festool, а фурнитура для мебели - Blum

The bottom of that track....is it grippy? Does it stay true on the wood surface without having to clamp it down? I never had one and always made my own straight edge guides. I have a 7 1/4" Skil Worm Drive so it probably won't work with it....Your thoughts.....

A few things.....Done without a table saw...Disclaimer....If I rip a sheet of Plywood to get to equal halves....when I mark 24" and then I am going to position the blade in the middle of my mark......will each piece now be 23 15/16" wide?

Fantastic video, so clear and professional. I know you already explained it but can i ask, in regards to the wheel adjustment at the front of the draw that moves the draw left and right. For example if i want to move the draw to the left, do i just adjust the left wheel or do you adjust both left/right wheels together in the same direction? Also you say to make the draw depth, or draw sides the exact size of the draw slide. Is that the overall size or do yo measure from the front of the slide to the back of the pin? Finally to position the runner in the carcass, you mentioned to back it of 3mm from the face. Is measuring in 37mm and using the third hole from the front the same thing?? Thank you so much.

Wow expected a lot of Festool-hater comments here...especially the Domino. Maybe they don't watch this channel because Jason has so much Festool in the background? Jason you hit it on the head. For most of us it is about efficiency. I have a family, job, and a CNC to learn how to use so even if I want to learn how to do some fancy joinery by hand (and I will do some of it), I actually want to get something done. Otherwise all my wife sees is packages arrive and nothing completed except more workshop storage organization projects. And ditto on the sander advice. It's magnificent that works really fast. Even with 3 mm stroke (I bought it first because of the veneered plywood burn through issue),their sanders are beautiful and the dust collection is awesome even with a standard shop vac.

Great video series. One comment: shouldn’t the door hinge centre lines be 98mm from top and bottom, not 100mm like the receiver plate? If not, you’d end up with zero reveal at top or bottom, and the other hinge would be 4mm off.

Sliding table saw vs Sawstop . . . To me this is a no BRAINER. You chose wisely. The sliding table mechanism solves the safety issue (as long as you use it), and it adds additional versatility to the saw, including the ability to accurately cut down sheet goods. The slider also doubles as a pretty good joining mechanism, so you can probably go without a jointer.

Awesome review. I needed some good insight and comparison between these 2 saws, and you delivered. I currently use the milwaukee cordless in the field, and I love it. However, in the shop, I use corded, but the power situation is a problem, and im leaning towards battery. The only thing I dont like with festool is I wish the width of the cut was longer than 12. I use a ridgid 12" that's almost 17" width of cut, and it saves a lot of time vs. having to bust out the track saw. The KSC 60 does seem very tempting, and the weight and portability are nice to have. I mostly want it for the shop, but to have the option to take it into the field is also a major plus

Every single thing from Wera I've ever laid hands on has been a great tool. Maybe they're the Festool of hand tools, as they can be a bit expensive. But picking up a Wera tool just puts a smile on my face. I can say that you ever really *need* a Wera tool, as cheaper tools will work. But they're just a pleasure to use. And in my book, that makes them worth the money.

I use the Bora to cut down plywood in HD parking lot with the tracksaw. Works really well and quite portable. And the Wera set is AWESOME. Especially the low profile wrench. It's perfect for getting to the screw you have to tighten on DeWalt's tracksaw. A screw with not much clearance. And that RapiAdaptor that comes with it is also a complete game changer. Finally, I thought I was going to make it through the episode w/o getting in trouble...but that 2-3-4 block looks ....temping! :) BTW, thanks for the narrow crown stapler recommendation. The Grex is a BEAST!!

I chose a track saw square from Banggood website because it is half as wide. I would have purchased the TSO product but it is ~6" wide and when attached to the end of a 1400mm track, the track does not extend past the edge of a 4' panel by more than an inch or so. The Banggood product is ~3" wide so the 1400 track extends ~4" past the end of a 4' panel. It works well on my Makita or Festool tracks and is about $30. I wish the standard track length was 1500mm, and if it was I would have gone with the TSO square.

This really isn't the best video because you're showing a very easy application. And then you're also flipping the cabinet. I build a lot of draw boxes and install them in existing cabinets in very tight spaces. Many with face frames. Some don't have a center panel in the middle, so those are types of videos would be great if you could demonstrate any Special processes the help installation go smoothly
